Fireflies, Glowing things, musical strings and fun. On June 21st, the longest day of the year, June 28th RAIN DATE we invite all Nora neighbors to join us at the park area between the Monon and Aldi. We’ve invited an artist and naturalist from the da Vinci Pursuit to engage children (and interested adults) on the topic of the firefly(Indiana’s state insect, by the way). There will be hands-on activities, glow bracelets, snacks and music* from the Indy Ukers (Ukelele Club).
Bring your camping chairs and a picnic if you like. And be sure to stroll down to Huddles – a firefly theme appropriate frozen treat may be on the menu. *pending due to rain date
