What’s a Land Use Plan? A Land Use Plan provides a vision for land development and will shape the growth of Indianapolis throughout the coming decades. In particular, it is the recommended future usage for a given property and/or for a given section of each neighborhood. The Land Use Plan is one way to implement the community’s hopes for development. It tells us what you want to see in your neighborhood – like retail shops, houses and apartments, parks, and civic space.
